General Conditions -Services - Insurance coverage
All our vehicles are in an excellent codition.
The renter before renting a vehicle is entitled to check its codittion
and is oblidjed to return it with all its tools ,accessories , document
otherwise the renter has to compensate the lessor for any damage or loss.
All fines and costs incurred during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter.
The driver has to drive the car according to the traffic Law. Damage caused by the tenant, who drives drunk or on drugs is not covered by any insurance. Damage to tires, wheels, in the car and below are not covered by any insurance.
The following are prohibited.
- Rent the vehicle to another person.
- Repair of the vehicle by any agent other than Astycar
- Carry other vehicle or items
- The car shall not be operated by another person other than the renter
- Pets – smoking – food consumption are not allowed in the vehicle ( Penalties charged ,up to 150 euros for each of the above)
- Violation of the rental terms concerning drop out time might give penalty charges up to three times the daily rate .
- Key loss is charged up to 150 euros.
Minimum driver age 23 years old for all categories. A valid driving license, Greek, European or International - Credit Card (VISA, MASTER CARD) required.
Payment method
For all groups a valid Credit Card accepted by Astycar, must be shown for the pre-authorization of the renter's liability (based on the amounts listed insection "COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER” (CDW)
Gasoline
For all types of vehicles is covered by the renter.
The renter must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as during collection.
Refuelling Service Charges will be applied otherwise (amout of fuel missing plus 15 euros refuelling servise)
Services
Unlimited mileage. Free delivery / collection of cars at the (hotel - port-airport), direct road service , Cdw, Baby seats
Insurance coverage
All Astycar vehicles are covered against damages from Fire to the rented vehicle, and Liability Insurance to Third Party death, injury, and property damage included in the basic rate .
Collision damage waiver (CDW):
The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a minimum charge of € 800 for groups A, B, for groups C, D 1250 Euros
Cancelation Policy
To complete your booking a 25% deposit will be required.
Free cancelation policy is provided up to ten days prior to your rental day.
Otherwise the cancellation penalty equal to the amount paid upon booking.
Security & Privacy
All information relating to user's personal data is protected as confidential by the observance of the applicable laws on the protection of personal data. The security of the E-shop is achieved by the following procedures:
Customer Recognition:
The codes used to identify the user / client are two:
- the Username and
- the Secret Password,
Every time the user / customer registers them he / she gains full access to his / her personal information. It is given the ability to change the secret password as often as desired. The only person who has access to his / her data is himself through the above codes and is solely responsible for maintaining his / her secrecy by third parties. If it is lost or leaked, it should notify us otherwise, otherwise we are not responsible for the use of the password by an unauthorized person. Our online store does not in any way disclose or disclose personal information and user / customer information. Personal data is used solely for the proper execution of transactions.
